While supporting a family during sign-up, Charlotte Houldsworth (neighbourhood officer) noticed the young son was carrying a football. With the help of a translator, she learned that he’s a huge football fan. Inspired to help, Charlotte reached out to a manager at Step by Step who runs a local football team—and successfully connected them with the family. The boy is now thriving in the team, receiving fantastic feedback, and showing real talent as an excellent footballer.
